Tips about Journaling
- Write a letter to a friend who positively impacted you.
- In the letter, tell them what you like most about friendship and what you like the most about them. Tell them how they have a positive impact on you as a person and your life.
- Write a letter to your future self.
- How do you imagine yourself in the future? What will your life look like? What will you be doing? What do you want to remind your future self about you and your life right now?
- Note: These can also be written in a letter format to a friend if it’s easier to write about it that way
- Write a list!
- Make a list of everything that made you smile today or this week. Read through the list when you’re done!
- Free write about your emotions, even the tough ones!
- What makes you feel worried or scared? Why do you think that it makes you feel this way?
- Write about one of your happiest memories.
- What happened? Why did it make you feel so happy?
- Write a list of advice for yourself!
- Write down a list of 10 things that you want to remind yourself during tough times. (Next time you are having a hard time or feeling upset, look back at this list).
- How to start? Try to answer these questions!
- How are you feeling right now? Why do you think that you feel this way?
